Re: [cancercured] More on

Gloria the first thing I would think of is dropping out of the allopathic system. If you have not learned from your own experiences that you describe below then I wonder. Forget about "they" or "them" and warn your daughter to stay away from mentally disabled doctors who don't know one end of a medical stick from another.

Early detection in Lung Cancer - what do they mean by that?
I was a healthy 56 year old non- smoker who first sought medical advice after having a cough for about 3 months (following an influenza). My doctor was unimpressed. He did an EKG since my blood pressure was elevated and told me not to worry about my cough.
I went back one year later with the same cough and he said my lungs were fine and gave me prescription for some Motrin. My chest was hurting from all the coughing. Two years later I was back again with my complaint of coughing. At this point my back was killing me also.
My doctor enthusiastically proclaimed my symptoms to be asthma and gave me an armload of remedies. As an afterthought, she said, maybe we should do a x-ray - since I had not have one for about 20 years.
Twenty minutes later, after my x-ray - all hell broke loose.. .
Anyway, CT scan confirmed a large nodule (4.5cm) on my lung etc.
So, I ask you what is an early detection in lung cancer?
Three years ago I had no symptoms - but I probably already had the nodule of some size.
Do we do a random testing via CT scan, before onset of symptoms?
That will certainly give you cancer after a while, if given enough tests. What is the answer? My daughter is 34 years old. What do I tell her to do?
