come back. It started with a new pain under her arm and progressed.
Her CTscan and bone scan were neg. But her PETscan showed that she has
some positive lymph nodes in her clavial and mediastynum(?). She also
has a new tumor that is about 4cm under her arm. The doctor has now
said she has stage IV cancer. She began chemo again last week and will
continue with that for 6 cycles. I feel even more helpless than the
first time she was diagnosed. I think I'm still in shock that she has
cancer again. She was barely considered cancer free in Nov. 2007. I
have been very positive and strong for my Mom. It's almost like I
have to put up a front for her. I just refuse to let her see me
worried or scared although deep down I fear the worse will come. Has
anyone been through any similar experiences as far as recurrenc of
breast cancer? I feel very alone (even though I know I'm Not) and just
want to know what to expect.
