[cancercured] Re: New claims about cancer cures; Coley's Toxins

Comdyne 2002, Just as a matter of historical accuracy--- while Dave
probably was referring to Dr. Coley's toxin's which are more widely
known Dr. Koch did at one time attempt to cure cancer by inducing a
fever,( using tissue thrombin.) Several years later Dr. Koch developed
Glyoxylide which was used in conjunction with a restrictive diet that
eliminated all foods that contain toxins, plus all that contain oxygen
inhibitors such as meat, beans, lentils, alcohol, coffee and tomatoes.
Distilled water and daily enemas were prescribed. The initial injection
of Glyoxylide was usually effective for six months and not repeated
unless there was again evidence of decreased oxidation.
(This information from The Cancer Blackout Amended, by Nat Morris,
Regent House, Los Angeles, 1978.)
I strongly recommend this book or the earlier edition, The Cancer
Blackout 1959 same publisher. You'll see the same cancer-cure drama
repeated over and over for three centuries each time with a different
cast.
I read in previous posts that you have been convinced by the writing
of the British surgeon, Blond, that you are now qualified to inform this
list regarding both the etiology and treatment of cancer.
I urge some restraint. Some thirty years ago I was equally convinced by
various authors of the efficacy of Laetrile. My enthusiastic advocacy
may have cost my dad his life.

The Romans who were perpetually engaged in war had a phrase Dulce
inexpertis bellum which
in clumsy translation says that war is only sweet to those without
experience of it. Similarly, cancer is only simple to those without
experience.

Many a beautiful theory is slain by an ugly fact as often in cancer
therapy as in other endeavors.

All the best,
Jon
