[cancercured] Re: aqua detox---Further Questions on a Valuable Discussion

I think this footbath detox discussion can be viewed as a "poster
child" for the whole gamut of alternative treatments---for the
difficulty so many of us have in choosing where in the very wide
alternative medicine world to put our hope, our time and our money---
what, in many cases, even to bet our very lives on.

Too many of us, myself included, are handicapped in our decision-making
capacity, by a lack of basic physiological, biochemical and other
knowledge.

I am wondering right now if it would not be possible for someone or
some group to begin educating interested members of the public in how
to make intelligent, informed decisions about how to decide which
protocols to try when looking for alternative healing. I would pay for
such an education---some sort of several hour, one-day or multi-day
workshop.

Thanks for offering your valued opinion on the foot baths, Vincent.
(Stephen Barret has, in my opinion, indirectly contributed to the
deaths of who knows how many people with his very prejudiced opinions
and by making sure he covers every single alternative therapy available
AND by making sure his listings appear at or near the top of every
search engine page for that particular treatment. But,as you say, he is
not always wrong, and he should not be dismissed out of hand, but his
opinion and data can be weighed with all the other opinions and data on
any particular modality.)

What you say about the foot baths is exactly what the nurse-
practitioner my wife and her mother-in-law are seeing says about what
appears in the water: "The bubbles/froth are fungus. The green color is
from the gall bladder/liver." Etc.

****HOWEVER, I do have one question: My wife says she is doing the foot
baths in a room with other people, and that the water in their foot
baths is a different color for each person, AND that the water color is
different on different days, AND that the froth in the water does not
always appear, etc, etc. How does one explain that?

Thanks,

Elliot
