I have never had a false positive nor have I heard about this. I never would
put radioactive dye into my body. If I got a positive, I would do the test
again and get an ultra sound in that area and maybe a thermogram.
If your doctor writes the perscription correctly, not as screening but says
that you have pain or that you feel a lump etc, then there shouldn't be a
charge.
