pressure and liver problems too. I recently was having stomach/liver
pains after eating, and read about caffeine as a source of liver/gall
bladder problems. I was trying to drink 3 cups of oolong or black tea
in an effort to boost my metabolism to lose weight. I was also eating
1 oz serving of cocoa powder a day. I quit all of the caffeine and
also stopped eating nuts, which I was eating 2-3 servings a day on
the Budwig diet. I was even soaking the raw Brazil nuts and almonds to
remove enzyme inhibitors.
I also started being sure to take papaya/pineapple enzyme tablets with
meals and started drinking peppermint tea since one site listed it as
helpful to dissolving gall stones. I also make tea from Milk thistle
seed and Artichoke leaf tea. Anyway, I haven't had more stomach aches.
