It would probably be more accurate to say, 'A more definitive way to determine cancer is through a biopsy' because biopsies are not 100% and, in the case of my daughter-in-law's mother, they 'missed' the target.
Additionally, my Urologist admitted that it could be missed.
The hint that there is good reason to avoid doing a biopsy on every suspected thing is sound. What a dilemma, biopsy to determine whether or not there is cancer and at the same time risk the 'seeding' of cancer cells throughout the body. Choices choices.
