Intrinsic factor is the glycoprotein that cells in the stomach make
to facilitate B12 absorbtion in the small intestine. It has nothing
to do with iron. Absorbtion of iron from plant sources is regulated
in the intestine. Absorbtion of heme iron from meat is not
regulated and is "dose" related.
Stay away from beef if you have cancer. This includes any form of
beef including organic free range or raw.
