When I was battling my brain tumor in 1990, I went to a nutritionist that is really responsible for starting this organization.
It cost us $1000/month and after 4 months, led us nowhere!
My husband and I decided to put me through the training and not rely on muscle testing which for me was false hope. I am not saying that it is false hope for everyone but for me with a brain tumor and four children 4 and under at the time, I was going downhill quickly and needed some answers.
I since have gotten my answers and I will not rely on multi-level structures. It is so much work to regain our health. It takes years and multiple steps.
I love the world of nutrition. You are what you absorb! I have learned this the hard way! I am tumor-free today but learned that I have had celiac disease my whole life.
The nutritional field has offered so much for our family.
I understand your frustration. Believe me. I have had to deal with clients that went that route. I hate to discredit anyone trying to help but when we are in a desperate situation, I also hate others taking advantage of us. (At least that is how it feels.) Nutrition is a major key to health. It has been so freeing for us having had me with tumors, two of our four children with cancer and my husband with embolism.
Just want to encourage you guys to never give up and learn!

Healthquarters Lodge in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The cost was $3200
for 8 days, not including transportation and extra supplements they
suggest for you. Most people added about $200 with the cost of the
extra supplements, plus most people ordered extra supplements for after
they left. The basic supplements are provided for in the cost, along
with all juices, rooms, enema supplies, reading material, etc.
The group is very definitely evangelical Christian in nature, which can
rub some people the wrong way. I don't have a problem with it, except
some of the more fearful aspects of that set of beliefs, as I was
brought up in a more liberal version of the Christian church.
They will also offer phone consultations on how to do the program
yourself at home, which could save substantially on costs! Instead of
MRT, they rely heavily on a long set of questions asked over the phone
to determine information about your thyroid, adrenals, stomach, liver,
kidneys, etc etc etc. The phone consultations are $60 an hour, at
which time you would be suggested a set of vitamins to purchase.
They sell vitamins and supplements, but these are not their creations.
Most are by Biotics Research or Nature's Sunshine. I believe the
former are only sold via naturopaths or chiropractors. The latter may
be from a multi-level marketing company, but we were not asked to join
in on this, thank God.
