Asparagus is one among many important ayurvedic preparations. There are many Asparagus preparations available to treat kidney and urinary diorders. I have used Asparagus to treat intractable urinery infections and reduce blood urea nitrogen and secrum creatinine levels in dialysis patients to reduce dialysis frequency and in early stage of endstage renal disease to reverse the pathology. It is used even in skin problems like eczema e.t.c. It didn't occur to my mind to use in cancers(even though it is such an important herb). I would consider to try it on some cancer patients. It is easily available and cheap. Thanks for bringing up this ancient Indian herb.
