Without minimizing anyone's issues, I think of my aunt who for at least 50 years was considered anemic and if 'they' had not butchered her during a simple operation, she might have lived to 90.
They killed her at 81. Apparently her anemia did not hold her back from a well-lived and reasonably long life. Of course you are dealing with other issues as well.
