[cancercured] Bad bad casein?

I keep hearing over and over how incredibly nasty casein in dairy
products is. I got that again last week at the retreat I attended.
The ND there claimed dairy is the worst thing anyone can eat,worse
than sugar and red meat.

So I'm wondering how to get rid of the casein from the Budwig diet.
I know you need sulphur containing protein molecules to bind with the
flaxseed oil.

The ND at my retreat said that yogurt has no casein. Is this true?
On the Budwig board they discuss draining yogurt for about 6 hours to
get it thick enough to blend with the flaxseed oil (FO) and using
this instead of cottage cheese. Seems like a pain in the butt, but
if casein is so nasty, maybe it is worth it.

I was also thinking of throwing in two scoops (maybe 5 -6
tablespoons) of whey powder into yogurt. Actually I tried this with
undrained yogurt, but the mixture was still very soupy. I added the
FO anyway, and it seemed to emulsify well. I didn't see any unmixed
FO. And it tasted very good.

My one concern with this is the amount of protein I'd be consuming in
one small shot -- 60 grams from the whey alone! Is there any
problem with this huge dose of protein at one time?
