Arlyn- I can't say I make the FOCC ice cream, but just the frozen
bananas, but here is a recipe from the Flaxseedoil2 forum, plus one for
"pie". I would think you could use strawberries, peaches, papaya or
bananas instead of mangos.

The short method would be to make FOCC (I don't like cottage cheese so
use yogurt cheese or strained yogurt instead), sweeten, flavor, freeze
and eat or freeze in an ice cube tray and blend with fruit like
strawberries to make a frozen smoothie. Or I've made frozen smoothies
in a blender by freezing the fruit and adding milk and lemon juice,
sweetener, and vanilla, so it would work adding the unfrozen FOCC to
the frozen fruit and whisk in a blender.

Recipe-

This is how I make ice cream with FO/CC. The mangos can be replaced
with berries. After trying please let me know how it turned out.

Budwig Ice Cream

Ingredients A:
4 big mangos [5 small]
2 tbsp very thick coconut milk
3/4 cup raw milk
1-2 tbsp honey or 2-4 tsp sugar brown sugar
1/4 tsp cardamon powder
1/8 tsp cinnamon powder

Ingredients B
6 tbsp cottage cheese
3 Tbsp of flaxseed oil
3 tbs raw milk

Ingredient C
1 1/2 tbsp flaxseed [grind]

Topping:
Walnuts chopped
Mango cut in cubes

Method:

Blend all ingredients A until smooth. Pour in a bowl and place in the
freezer.
Blend ingredients B until oil is thoroughly mixed and no oily streaks
can be seen. Mix with ingredients A.
Cool in freezer for 15 mins then pour into an ice cream machine.
When soft and creamy add the flaxseeds [grind them first].
Serve in bowls and top with walnuts and mango cubes.

Tip: For a firmer ice cream leave in freezer for 1-2 hours.

I usually take my FO/CC as a smoothie, however "Tina from the boonies"
once gave me an excellent FO/CC alternative to make it into a
"Strawberry Pie".

-Grind 4-5 tbls whole flaxseed and mix with some coconut oil until it
becomes a consistency like a graham cracker crust. Press into the
bottom of a bowl.
-On top of this "crust", add a layer of sliced strawberries.
-Blend the FO/CC until it is the standard "cream"; add organic
cinnamon powder & Stevia or honey to taste. Spread the cream on top of
the strawberries.
- Top the cream with some crushed or ground nuts (I use Brazil nuts).

This actually tastes very good and other fruit pie variations might
also be created.
