Re: [cancercured] Re: Simple Carbs & Sugars Feed Cancer

Hello comdyne2002,

Well, you might want to explain to Dr. McLaughlin that he is entirely
wrong about how the annonaceous acetogenins work. He's the one that
discovered the effectiveness of Paw Paw and the exact mechanism of
respiratory inhibition with regard to the inner mitochondrial
membrane. The acetogenins don't work in the cytoplasm. The only
reason they work is that they approximate, in their physical
configuration, a type of analog chain of molecules that is a "fit" for
active sites along the membrane. This "fit" has a masking effect
blocking the reactive components of respiration. That can tip the
balance, so to speak, driving the cells below a threshold level of
ATP production to the point where they are unable to sustain
metabolic activity. In other words, in this case you are forcing the
cells to die by making them more anaerobic. The point is that cancer
cells do have impaired respiration. They are not, however, equal to
prokaryotic cells. Some breathe better than others.
