Re: [cancercured] Re: Bladder Cancer-Ablation

I have done a lot of searching and asking whether or not any Ablation is being done for Bladder Cancer and the answer keeps coming back, 'No'.

The site recommended as reading for the Recurring Bladder Cancer concentrated on Prostate Cancer, a totally different cancer from Bladder Cancer.

Conventional treatments for Bladder Cancer are all over the place just as it is with Prostate cancer.

What is needed with any recurring cancer is to be involved with people that know what works and what doesn't. Dan, who wrote about Prostate Cancer originally connected with Vincent, as I did, and was put on the right track as I was but here again, different situations exist for different people and what works for one doesn't always work for another. The question with the bladder is, has it become invasive meaning, has it gone from a surface tumor to invade the muscle wall of the bladder? Is it traveling via the tubes to the kidneys? If so, the surgeons and oncologist will surely recommend complete removal of 'everything' as my own Urologist suggested would happen.
Of course I quickly told him that will never be an option with me.

I wouldn't doubt but that most bladder cancers will come back, maybe a few times, and often cease after a few times of returning and without natural methods....................but when it doesn't cease, one is in serious trouble.

As it stands now, Ablation, in any form, doesn't appear to be a first or second choice for bladder cancer control but does for Prostate, Breast, Lung and perhaps brain cancers.
