Wow! this reminds me of the studies of atomic victims after the atombombs were dropped on Japan. People who ate traditional Japanese diets were not effected much by the radiation. This is considered due to the diet of mostly seafood rich in iodine. Those who developed radiation sickness were not eating the traditional diets. A year or so ago I searched statistics for Hiroshima and Nagasaki finding it quite interesting that these ground zero cities were re-built and are fully populated. The statistics for cancer deaths in Nagasaki were negligible when compared to the total population. Perhaps radioactivity isn't as dangerous as our leaders would have us believe. I couldn't locate stats on Hiroshima but I suspect that cancer deaths are low there as well.Lugol's iodine was taken off the market a few months ago. Hummm....Makes one wonder now doesn't it? --- In cancercured@yahoogroups.com, "Rhoda Mead" wrote:>Ginkgo Biloba is known to detoxify excess radiation. Also good for heart, hearing, memory, etc. A gingko tree was left alive well within the dead zone in Japan after A-Bomb drop. The only downside is that it is yet another blood thinner, so be cautious.
