The Internet and this list can be a valuable tool, however, besides mis-information, too many of us when seeking help, are really seeking answers we want to here, that fit our particular belief system or weaknesses. I've done it in a number of possible situations. Often we, of that foolish approach keep asking until we find the person that answers our way of thinking and then we jump on that finding.
Again, statements are regularly made that have an 'absolute' sound to them when there is no justification for the 'this is the way it is' kind of post. Keep an open mind, but not so open your brains fall out.
Do not accept everything you read at face value until you thoroughly have explored the ins and outs of a subject.
Question the source, the experience of the 'authority' making profound-sounding statements, whether or not they are helping people to overcome their cancers or just want to have themselves read and agreed with. Many of us provide our opinions and at least let people know they are opinions and simply our own beliefs or are things we have read.
Let me repeat. The list has a number of posts that come to us sounding as if it is written in stone, absolutely the only way. It isn't that way-- and we need to seek more information, because 'Information Is Your Best Friend' as a genuine practitioner on this list has said before.
