You know, I am fairly young (43 years old) and fought this monster for almost 20 years now. I have been very athletic at times in my life. This last time I chose to weightlift and do the elliptical, my recovery time was long and I did not build at all (and I normally build easily.)
It just dawned on me that it should be this way when anyone is in stage 3 adrenal exhaustion. So, if anyone is in stage 3 adrenal exhaustion, I would do light activity to keep the lymph moving like walking, etc but until the adrenals have enough energy to fight again, you need to address the issue.
I use a saliva and urine test and boost my glands with products to help me along those lines.
I am sorry for being difficult here. I have found out many things these last 20 years fighting!
Blessings,
Johanne

Subject: Re: [cancercured] Exercise and Cancer
Hello Zacc,
Exercise is helpful as long as it is not to the point of exhaustion.
If you find yourself not recovering from it between sessions, you are
doing too much. It's important to keep lymph moving and exercise is
one of the best ways to do that. Rebounding (bouncing gently on a
small trampoline) is one of the best forms of exercise. It drives
lymph drainage extremely well and also helps demarginate white cells
to keep them active. What I mean by this is that the cells are
discouraged from parking themselves along blood vessel walls. The
rebounding movement changes slightly the electrical charge on the
white cell membrane and makes it less likely to adhere to the wall of
a vessel. Regular rebounding also causes white cells to live longer.
Blood circulation is improved, bringing more oxygen to tissue. Red
cells benefit by having the Rouleaux formations broken up so the
blood cells flow more easily.
Weight lifting is ok if you keep the sessions brief, of moderate
intensity, and done intermittently. Once every few days is probably
best. If fatigue accumulates over a period of
days, you need to back off.
