[cancercured] Re: Sugars and cancer ...

The key is to avoid high blood-sugar levels,
so it's important not to eat a lot of high-sugar fruit (e.g., dates,
tropical fruit) at any one meal. If you're eating such fruit in any
quantity, it's best to eat a little low-glycemic fruit 1st to slow
down sugar absorption.
But even sweet fruit's no worse than equivalent amount of
high-glycemic grains or vegetables (e.g., white potatoes, which should
be avoided due to very high glycemic index).

Many fruit are quite cancer-healing, particularly
dark grape/currants, pomegranate, peach/nectarine, apricots & apricot
kernels, apple/pear (eat the seeds); bilberries, raspberries,
blackberries, cherries, strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, goji,
lychee; fig, cantaloupe, papaya, kiwi, red grapefruit, lemon.

Fruit juice should be strictly avoided, except for a little
fresh-squeezed apple or red grapefruit juice.
