growing at the bottom similar to the clump that forms in Kombucha. I
presume that this is the media doing its thing and filtering it off
and consuming the vinegar would be OK? I do this witk Kombucha all
the time as the mass is a part of the fermantation process.
Incindentlly, Kombucha ferments aerobically.

If you take a look at bottles of apple cider vinegar, you will see
that some of them have a cloudy substance in them. This is the "mother." It will also say "with the mother" on the bottle.
