For someone whom has lofted in this area for over a year and doesn't usually express an opinion, I find it interesting that you would so willing become enamored on such an unproven amtidote for an unproven theory without scientific backing. As a one year survivor now of stage 4 prostate cancer at the age of 46, I turn to this group for both proven and possibly quite not mainstream ways to fight my battle but I disagree with your apparently correct statement. I have followed your advice without you knowing it and have found it very valuable in my battle. As one whom has consumed large amounts of peppers my whole life I can say without A DOUBT IT DOES NO GOOD.. MEANWHILE, I DO LOVE YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE GROUP, because of your opinions and others, I plan to be visiting Vincent in the near future

Hi, Walter.
You are correct, apparently:

Bhut jolokia and naga jolokia are names for the same pepper grown in
different areas, a pepper which, when grown under ideal conditions,
has a capsaicin rating of over 1,000,000--- about 3X that of a
habanero. But since it is hard enough for most people to eat a
habanero, it does not appear to me to make much sense to seek out and
pay for bhut jolokia peppers. The author of the article one can
access at the link I gave says he was "foolish enough to bite into
one."
I'd stick with the readily available, "milder" (!) habanero myself.
Best wishes,
Elliot
