If mammograms caused breast cancer - every woman who had a mammogram
would have cancer. But that isn't how it works.
If mammograms were the cause of breast cancer, then women who had never
had a mammogram would be safe from getting breast cancer. But that
isn't true either, as very young women get breast cancer, women who have
never had mammograms.
