[cancercured] Responsibility

I truly do not believe we are solely responsible for our own cancer.

I think it is truly demeaning to many to say this.

I do believe that we can contribute to our own cancer. And we can
certainly make changes that will help us to heal.

If I hadn't already been a raw food vegetarian before my diagnosis, I
might actually believe what you are saying. And since my diagnosis, I
have met other women with breast cancer who were in even better shape
than myself and still developed cancer.

Cancer is NOT simple. It is a complicated condition that is caused by
many different factors that just happen to occur at the same time.
There is NOT one answer. There is NOT just one cause. I feel it is
morally reprehensible to say so as it cuts out possibilities, sets
people up for failure, and quite frankly, makes as much sense as the
allopathic response to cancer.
