That is way too much. They have cyanide in more than trace amount.
Recommended dose is 1 pit per 10 lbs of body weight per day, and if
well tolerated, up to 30-35 per day, but no more than 6 per hour.
Crush them and eat them with a sauce or something to disguise the
taste-they're really bitter. I've used hummus-it seems to mask the
taste better than something sweet. Do not eat them whole, they must be
crushed or grated. Do not eat seeds marked 'Hunza' as they will not
have the required components; I dont know why this is, I just heard it
from somewhere.
Watch out for nausea, if experienced reduce dose and gradually build
up to tolerance level.
Some good information re B17/laetrile at world without cancer site.

did, the amount is so slight that I would think one might be able eat
a cup of them without ill effect (for a normal adult person in good
health), but maybe not two or three cups (just kidding, I have no idea
what the limits might be). (Probably there is some recommendation
based on body weight, age, gender, etc.)
