I get Pau de Arco tea bark in a bag from Creative Health in Greenville, SC.
I love it. It is in a bag and I pay $9.99 per bag. Lasts forever. I have
used it at the advice of my nutrionalistit after I was diagnosed with
breast cancer in 2005 . I did have a lumpectomy in March 2006 (because I
had the biopsy so thus the cancer was already stirred up...) -- and it was
found that my tumor was encapsulated and was unattached to the chest wall.
Thankful for that. My mammogram and CT scan showed differently in 2005. I
waited 5 months after my biopsy to have my surgery. We believe that it was
on its way to dissipating entirely. I have had no chemo or radiation --
mainly because of other health issues --- we weighed all the risks. Anyway,
everything I have read about Pau de Arco and Essiac Tea has convinced me
that they are right on target -- certainly along with a mostly vegetarian
lifestyle. I also think that Hoxsey Medical Center and Oasis of Hope
Hospital are great places for alternative treatment.

In 1992, it appeared that a combination of Cantron, vegetarian diet,
Pao Darco, distilled water and rebounding allowed me to shrink lymphoma
tumors in my neck down to nothing. Hard to know how much the Pao Darco
had to do with the results, but it is apparently something useful for
people with cancer to take, as well as people who wish to prevent their
being diagnosed with cancer.

I am with Leonard on the tincture. So often I see people wanting to get
back to the fresh, raw, totally unprocessed item, when, in my opinion,
unless they are highly skilled herbalists with a testing laboratory,
they may very well end up not getting as good/strong a dose of the oil
or decoction as they would if they sought out a reputable firm that
supplies standardized, minimally processed tinctures.
