I found the following information about breast cancer in Korea here:

The article mentions as possible factors, earlier menstruation,
longer menstruation and high fat diet.

All of those can often be attributed to industrialization, higher
salaries, more sedentary work and more eating of refined foods and
animal protein, and less eating of raw vegetables, fruits, nuts,
seeds and legumes. It could even be that a lot more coffee and less
water is being drunk because so many more are working at offices.

The article is fairly stupid, as all it does is to say that breast
cancer incidence is increasing in Korea, and under "Conclusions" it
more or less says breast cancer incidence is increasing in Korea.

Of course, they are referring to South Korea. I expect that in North
Korea, though a majority of the people live in misery and fear, they
probably don't have a terribly high cancer rate, over all because
they are not sedentary, and they still must eat natural foods because
processed ones are not available.
