for a second opinion, go to this link and take the time to read all of
what is there:
Several months ago, my wife and my mother-in-law visited a woman who is
a nurse and who runs a clinic in Springfield, MO. She had what she
referred to as a "Scio Machine," invented by a "Bill Nelson." With it,
she said she could diagnosed 92,000 different problems in the body.
It consists of wires hooked to a computer. The wires are attached to
loops that go around one's wrists and ankles and around one's forehead.
By doing "readings" with the machine, this woman was "able to tell
where we had dis-ease, and to know what modalities and supplements to
use on each of us."
I went to the woman because she assured me she could get rid of the
chronic bronchitis I have suffered from since 1995. What she did had
absolutely no effect on the bronchitis whatsoever. I actually had
another full-blown attack that began two weeks ago, and that is still
with me.
Why did I allow these treatments, and why did I pay the nurse to use
such a dubious-sounding device on me? Because I have tried nearly
everything else I possibly could to get rid of the bronchitis, and
because the woman promised she could get rid of the bronchitis with no
problem.
Please, members, when you see or hear something that sounds so way out
as to be unbelievable, pay attention to your common sense, and don't
get sucked into such things as I was. I paid this woman $1350 dollars
for 6 days of "treatments" and supplements. I am in the process now of
trying to get a refund.
There are without a doubt many different non-mainstream treatments that
can and do have a significant therapeutic effect on cancer. Many of
them can be found on MedLine---things such as Paw Paw and turmeric, for
example. But there are also plenty of pure scams out there. Protect
yourself by doing good research before handing your money over to
someone doing what appears to be highly unlikely treatment.
Best wishes and best of health,
Elliot
