I believe it is premature for someone who has never been diagnosed
with cancer to say they would never use mainstream medicine under any
circumstances. One never really knows what one would do till one is
confronted by an actual instance.
I have used mainstream medicine, judiciously and after careful
consideration, to my advantage when nothing I was doing alternatively
was working and I had run out of time to try anything else. In
particular, Rituxan, a monoclonal antibody, that works with, rather
than against, the body, has twice proved extraordinariy valuable to
me in shrinking tumors in my neck. The second time I got the
treatment, the tumor had gotten so very large, it was threatening to
erode the carotid artery in my neck, which would have caused stroke
or bleeding to death. I was very thankful to be able to get the
monoclonal antibody treatment, because otherwise, I would have had to
get radiation treatment, which surely would have left me with all
manner of nasty side-effects.
While I cannot say there has been anyone who has been "poisoned back
to health," there certainly are people with cancer who have
been "poisoned into remission." It does happen, like it or not. And
it is entirely possible that a person with, say, colon cancer, who is
brought into remission through mainstream treatment, AND who adopts a
healthful, anti-cancer lifestyle, may never have a relapse.
What has worked for me has been to educate myself on all aspects of
cancer treatment, and to choose, as wisely as I can, what I feel will
work for me in particular. That includes things mainstream.
I do not paint things stark black and white because they are not
black and white. And I do not believe there is any one cause of
cancer.
I believe the Rife machine would not work for a great many of us.
Best wishes,
Elliot
