[cancercured] Re: Cancer's Sweet Tooth

Dear Shelley,

Could you please explain further to us how one might go
about "reading" their urine for possible high blood sugar?

I ask because I know diabetes to be a very serious, far-reaching dis-
ease, and because for me, for instance, as a male, I could be
urinating frequently because of prostatic hypertrophy, or because I
ate some food that has diuretic properties, or simply because I drank
a lot of water.

Also, with me, my urine changes color depending on what I have been
eating, or on account of what supplements I am taking.

Then, with regard to the "texture" of my urine---well, there I am
lost. I know that when I used to make candy as a child, I would test
the mixture for "soft ball" or "hard ball" texture. But I would have
no idea at all how to compare/measure the "texture" of my urine.
Please explain.

Really, I believe it far safer, and is in fact cut and dried, to
spend 5 dollars on eBay or amazon.com and buy oneself a glucometer
kit. With one of those, it takes all of 30 seconds get a real,
accurate reading on one's urine sugar level. No guessing, no worry.

Best wishes and best of health,

Elliot
