That makes good sense about replacing amalgams with something else
when they begin to fall apart. I don't think any of us would want to
have another amalgam put in. I expect, I hope, anyway, that there is
much research being done on finding more permanent solutions to
filling caries or to replacing old, broken fillings.
Also, one might consider having amalgams, root canal teeth removed if
one is doing all one can to get better and nothing is working.
Come to think of it, isn't it supposed to be true that Dr. Budwig put
thousands of people into remission, and that she never once mentions
removing root canal teeth or having amalgams replaced? I don't know
what the state of dentistry was in her day, but one could find out
very quickly on wikipedia.com.
Best wishes and best of help,
Elliot
