As I indicated in my post, the intention was to educate those who are
at a possible loss as to why they are not getting better. Believe it
or not, for many, having their dental work cleaned up does the trick.
And no, I would never point anyone to go have all their teeth or
fillings ripped out. I cannot tell you the number of people, both men
and women, who have been harmed by shoddy dental work from across the
country that I've come to know. And by the way, with bone infections,
it is covered by medical insurance because it is osteomyelitis of the
jawbone. The followup dental work should be covered as well using the
proper osteo codes. It's personal choice to move forward with
something like this or not. Quite frankly, I am grateful I was led to
this solution.
The problem I have with dentists is that they fail to tell people what
can happen with root canaled teeth - this is uninformed consent. They
should give all options of what can happen. And, "cutting out
ligaments" is very basic dentistry. Unfortunately, many dentists do
not remove it and clean down to the bone to create fresh blood flow.
If this isn't done, infection is set up in the bone. The ligament is
what feeds nutrients to a tooth. Remove the tooth, get rid of the
ligament. It's unfortunate that my dog's vet knows about this more
than many of the dentists I've come to know.
My post was based on fact in my own case and of those I interacted
with over the course of a number of years. If you don't believe this
can happen and is overexaggerated, go to www.maxillofacialcenter.com.
There are a number of reasons infection can set up in the bone. Bad
dental work, hormones, immune compromised systems, etc. The point I
was trying to make is that it's a very serious condition and should
not be overlooked when one is trying to get well.
Another reason it's becoming more prevalent is that the amount of
cosmetic dentistry that is done is at an all time high. You're talking
major chemical-laden fillings in teeth that are released into the body
24/7. Throw in toxins from our personal products, food we eat, etc. We
take a major hit on a daily basis. I believe in Budwig's day overall
toxic exposure didn't even come close to assaulting the body as today.
The only way to protect oneself is through diet and immune system
building, not running to your local dentist. I for one would never
suggest that. But if you have a major infection, it can't be ignored.
Most of the docs I work with are seeing this more and more in their
cancer patients. It's totally personal choice to leave root canals in
or not, I feel a responsibility to share my experience and possibly
help someone though.
