I forgot to respond to something in your response. When one chooses to
have teeth removed, they must be replaced with partials or dentures
that not only are expensive, due to the loss of bone sometimes they
never fit right. This affects one quality of life, and they can no
longer enjoy foods like they use to.
It's part of the point I was "trying" to make. It is so critical to
take care of the body so these infections don't set up in the first
place. We are only given 2 choices, root canal or extraction. If
extreme care is not taken with either of these, the chance of setting
ourselves for infection that hurts our immune system is high.
Trying to find a dentist who knows how to check the root canals
periodically for leakage of infection, or one who knows enough to
remove the ligament, is difficult as well.
This is about empowering oneself to keep the body strong and not get
to this point to begin with.
