[cancercured] Re: Bad news ...Extract Root Canals/Remove Fillings

I forgot to mention that in most cases you may not know the jawbone
infection is there because it produces no pain many times. I had no
pain in my jaws until almost 3 years after the mercury fillings were
taken out. By that time, there was dead mushy bone and one large area
of active infection. What I had was overall body pain, and slow
deterioration of the entire left side of my body. We thought I had MS.

I've known many women with breast cancer who had parallel jaw
problems. The problem with so many of them I found, that after surgery
and radiation their jaws became incredibly painful. Many people are
blaming the post-radiation bone drugs. It's not just the drugs. The
drugs are like gasoline on an already-existent fire (infection) in the
jaws. Many of these women are told this is "very rare". I strongly
disagree. I've spent the last 10 years talking to women and dentists
who deal with this type of thing and it's anything but "rare".

Don't mean to frighten, just educate.
