With regard to "keeping the stomach at 7.35-7.45" there is no way,
except with some extraordinarily invasive procedure, to measure the
pH of the stomach. But more importantly, the stomach is going to stay
at 7.35-7.45 anyway, because that is the jealously guarded pH the
body maintains for all parts of itself.
With regard to "the higher the pH the better," I have had naturopaths
tell me that my salivary pH is too high---(7.8-7.9)There are various
opinions about this.
But I do not worry about my pH because whatever it is, I have
achieved it naturally, through diet, supplements, plenty of purified
water, low stress and regular moderate exercise.
With regard to the "dangers of distilled water," and "distilled water
sucking the minerals/vitamins out of one's body, that is very
debatable/unproven, and by adding 1/4 tsp of baking soda to a gallon
of distilled water, one alkalizes it and there is no longer any such
danger.
Finally, with regard to "Masuro Emoto," his so-called findings are
again something that I would only believe if I actually saw him do
such research and produce such results right in front of my eyes.
Think about it--- he claims that writing "Adolph Hitler" or "I hate
you" on a jar of water changes the molecular structure of the water??
In my opinion, no one should take such supposed findings at face
value without checking them very, very carefully. A book of
photographs and some words on the printed page are not nearly enough.
Just my opinion,
Elliot
