January with 4th stage adeno carcinoma. She chose to go the
conventional route She loves her doctors and feels very loved by
them. She has tremendous confidence in the treatment they are giving
her. Her tumor has not diminished in size after three chemo
treatments, however its metabolic rate has reduced by 50%. She is
starting her second set of chemo treatments after which they will
take a break. If she could, she would do chemo every day because she
feels a need to do something to get rid of this thing. She is very
attached to conventional medicine and her doctors. I have not pushed
her into considering alternative treatment, she is not interested
and I believe her total confidence and faith that she has made the
right choice is half the battle. She will be forced into taking a
break after this next round. Since she really wants to be doing
something she is open to suggestions. She already has a really
healthy diet and is in fantastic shape in spite of all this (she
played 18 holes of golf 3 days ago). I would like to suggest
something that will mesh with the choices that she has made and will
be received well by her doctor (who seems to be caring knowledgeable
and open minded). If anyone has any ideas, I would be truly grateful.
Thank you,
Ann Malabre
